Cookie Policy — Insify (Ireland)
Last updated: 22 September 2026
1. Who we are
This Cookie Policy applies to the website www.insify.ie (the "Website"), operated by Insify B.V., with its registered office at Weesperplein 4B, 1018 XA Amsterdam, the Netherlands ("Insify", "we", "us"). Insify provides its services in Ireland on a freedom of services basis.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies we use on the Website, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read together with our Privacy Statement, which explains how we process personal data more generally.
2. What are cookies?
Like most websites, we use technologies that allow us to record certain information when you visit or interact with our websites, services, applications, messages and tools, and to recognise you across devices.
We do this using cookies: small text files (usually consisting of letters and numbers) that are placed in the memory of your browser or device (e.g. your computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit a website or view a message. Cookies allow a website to recognise a particular device or browser. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage; in this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".
There are different types of cookies:
Session cookies expire at the end of your browser session and allow us to link your actions during that particular browser session.
Persistent cookies are stored on your device between browser sessions, allowing us to remember your preferences or actions across multiple sessions.
First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting.
Third-party cookies are set by a third party separate from the website you are visiting.
3. Which cookies we use
We only place cookies on your device with your consent, unless a cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested (as required under the Irish ePrivacy Regulations and the GDPR). Strictly necessary cookies (for example, cookies that keep you logged in to your customer account, remember a quote you are completing, support the security of the Website, or record your cookie preferences themselves) are always active.
All other cookies, including analytics and marketing/advertising cookies, are only placed after you have given your consent. If you do not consent, you can still use the Website; only the strictly necessary cookies will be placed.
The table below sets out the cookies we use on the Website, who places them, what they are used for, and how long they remain on your device.

4. Managing your preferences and withdrawing consent
When you first visit the Website, the cookie banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies, or to set granular preferences per category. Accepting and rejecting cookies is equally easy.
You can change your mind at any time. Withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it:
Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of the Website to reopen the preference centre and change or withdraw your choices at any time. Withdrawal takes effect for future processing; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We store your consent choice for a maximum of six months. After that period, we will ask you again.
You can also block, delete, or disable cookies using the settings of your browser or device. Preferences must be set separately for each browser and device you use, and different browsers offer different functionality and options. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Website functions.
5. Personal data and your rights
Where cookies involve the processing of personal data (such as your IP address or an online identifier), that processing is governed by the GDPR and our Privacy Statement. Our Privacy Statement contains further information on the purposes and legal bases of our processing, retention periods, international transfers, and your rights.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we start using new cookies or stop using existing ones. The most recent version is always available on this page. Where changes are significant, we will bring them to your attention, and where required, we will ask for your consent again.
